How do I name my
site?
The ideal name would be a name that your customers
already associate with you, such as your business
name. If your company's name is ABC Signs, Inc., you
could register the domain name abcsigns.com. If your
business name is not available, think of variations
you can use. Then, submit your ideas to Website Pros'
customer service, and they'll check the availability
and assist you with registration if needed.
Do I need a domain
name?
Any business can benefit from having a custom domain
name, but for an e-commerce site, a domain name is
crucial. Similar to a customized toll-free phone number,
a domain name gives your business a unique identity
on the Internet, making it easy for visitors to find
and remember your website.
What if I already
have a domain name?
No problem! We'll be glad to transfer your existing
domain name to your Website Pros website.
Are there any fees
to upgrade or downgrade my plan?
No, there are no extra fees to change plans. If you
upgrade or downgrade your next bill will reflect the
package that you changed to.
How will I be billed?
Billing is ongoing and based on the package you choose.
What forms of payment
are available?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Diners Club, and Discover.
What if my credit
card is declined?
You will be asked to enter another credit card number.

How can I update
or change the method of payment for my account?
To update or change your payment information, just
go to your Account Profile from the Control Panel.
This will allow you to change any of your account
information.

Your monthly contract allows you the greatest flexibility
and is currently the only term we accept.

What do I need
to take credit card orders online?
There are three basic parts required in order to have
an e-commerce enabled site.
- Shopping Cart/Catalog: Kurant StoreSense.
- Payment Gateway: Allows for the
shopping cart to send payments.
- Merchant Account: Business bank
account that allows deposits from credit card purchases.
Once you have these three things set
up, accepting credit card payments online is easy.
There are integrations bundled right into the Kurant
StoreSense software. You simply enter some basic information
from the payment gateway and let StoreSense do the
rest.
What credit cards
can I accept online?
Most Payment Gateways allow you to accept the following
credit cards online:
- American Express
- Discover Card
- Diners Club
- MasterCard
- Visa
How do I know if
an order has been placed in my store?
The Kurant StoreSense software will automatically
send you an order confirmation so you always know
when an order is placed.

can I still have an online store?
Absolutely. We make it easy for the non-programmer
to manage an online store.

What is merchant
account processing?
Merchant account processing services are provided
by a bank or a third party processor (on behalf of
the bank) to the merchant. These services include
authorization of credit cards and electronic checks,
settlement of funds through the bank associations
(MasterCard/Visa), and depositing of funds to checking
accounts, merchant billing, and account activity reporting.
Why do I need a
merchant account?
A merchant account is necessary to enable you to accept
MasterCard and Visa. Accepting MasterCard and Visa
encourages consumer purchasing and stimulates customer
impulse buying, which can help you grow your business.
Non-cash payment options are a must for today's Internet
businesses.

and Visa is licensed to perform merchant account processing.
CSI boasts a 98% merchant application approval rate.
Once your merchant account is approved, which usually
takes only 2 business days; you will be able to accept
credit cards the very next business day.
How will I get
paid for credit card transactions?
Credit Card Funds are automatically transferred to
your business checking account via an electronic ACH
transfer will usually occur within five to ten business
days after a transaction has been "captured"
and settled for payment.
What credit card
types can I accept?
You will automatically be set up for Visa and MasterCard
transactions.
What type of bank
account do I need?
A business checking account is preferred, however,
if you do not have a business account, a personal
account that is primarily used for the business and
is in the owner's name is acceptable. Your bank must
allow this account to be credited and debited via
ACH methods.
I already have
a retail merchant account. Why do I need another one?
Financial institutions and the Visa/MasterCard card
Associations have different criteria for evaluating
the potential risk involved in credit card transactions
where the card is not physically presented to the
merchant. This type of business is typically referred
to as "card not present" or "MO/TO"
(mail order/telephone order). This is also the case
for Internet businesses. For this reason, a separate
merchant account is needed.
Am I required to
have a physical storefront to process credit cards
with CSI?
No, this is not a requirement.

What is the LinkPoint
Secure Payment Gateway?
It is for online merchants who want a secure, fast,
and reliable e-commerce payment solution. The LinkPoint
Secure Payment Gateway translates information from
a merchant's website into a format that can be read
by an electronic processing system to process transactions
online. It gives merchants the ability to perform
real-time credit card and check authorizations from
a website over the Internet.
What
are the benefits of having a payment gateway?
- Security: Gateways keep customers
credit card and check data behind firewalls so that
the merchant doesn't have to worry about someone
"hacking in" to their system.
- Encryption: Gateways use Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) channel encryption to prevent
message tampering while the credit card and check
information is being transmitted over the Internet.
- Back-up redundancy: Gateways have
a backup system in place to ensure that merchants
can continue processing in the event of an emergency.
- Up-to-date Technology: Gateways
are services that are constantly upgraded to be
up-to-date with the latest technology. And, because
the gateways are not on merchants' computers, there
is no need for the merchants to upgrade their hardware.
How do I get my
gateway set up?
When your merchant account is approved, the payment
gateway will be automatically set up.
When an order is
placed how do I process the transaction?
When an online shopper purchases your merchandise,
the payment gateway automatically obtains a purchase
authorization for the check or credit card the shopper
used.
What types of payments
can I process through the gateway?
Through the gateway, you can process Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, and Diners Club, if your merchant
account is authorized to process these cards.
